Serving Wiltshire, Bath, Somerset and the neighbouring areas

We are open and still able to offer a full range of services.  We are doing all we can to keep everyone safe by following the latest advice from the NHS and the government.  We provide a service that is designated as essential.  Our local helplines are open daily from 8am to 8pm.  As is always the case, we are happy to answer any questions and to discuss your specific needs.

Goodwills Legal Services Ltd is a specialist regulated law firm managed by solicitors.  Since 2003 Goodwills has assisted over 60,000 people across the country with making a Will and with a range of other legal arrangements.

This is our local website for the helpful and professional service we provide to people in Wiltshire, Bath, Somerset and the neighbouring areas.

We offer a local, friendly and professional home visit Will making service. Your Will is probably the most important document you will ever have drafted and it’s important that you seek proper help to make sure that the various hurdles that can come between you and your intentions are avoided wherever possible.

A Will is an important legal document and it is vital that it is drafted correctly. We recommend that you avoid DIY or online Wills, the savings are small but what is at risk is great.

Having a Will that is not correctly drafted or not based on proper advice can be invalid, ineffective and vulnerable to challenge. It could leave you in an even worse position than not having a Will at all.

For your peace of mind and security all our Wills are produced by Goodwills Legal Services Ltd, a specialist, professional, insured and regulated law firm.

We are also able to offer a range of associated services, these include Trusts, such as Children’s Protective Trusts, Property Protective Trusts and Disabled Beneficiary Trusts. These types of Trust can, for example, ensure that children are properly looked after as they grow up should something happen to you or they can help to protect your property from third party creditors and care home claims.

Alongside a Will, one of the most important documents you will ever have drafted are Lasting Powers of Attorney. We are happy to offer advice on these documents and have them properly drafted to ensure that they reflect your intentions. With Court of Protection fees so high, it has never been more important to have Lasting Powers of Attorney in place to ensure that your loved ones are able to make decisions for you when you are unable to, rather than decisions being made by an anonymous person who has never even met you.

The other services we offer include fixed fee probate; professional executor services; court of protection work; funeral plans; business Wills and business power of attorney.  Through our association with Premier Solicitors we can also offer a wide range of other legal services at a very competitive fixed cost.

We offer a local, friendly and professional home visit service.  We have received very positive feedback from those we have assisted.  Our prices are usually very much lower than a High Street solicitor, but you still have the security and peace of mind of knowing that all legal work is completed by Goodwills Legal services Ltd, a well established specialist regulated law firm.
